 MINUTES & AGENDAS

ADVISORY COMMITTEE:

On July 10, 2000, the first meeting of the recently appointed group of residents by the Developer to make recommendations and act as consultants to the Interim Property Manager, Mr. Mike Kornhouser who had been supplying gate keys to new residents. Ostensibly, the committee was to function as an liason between the residents and the Property Manager who would then represent any issues, problems or concerns to the Developer.

The Committee's tenure was short lived. No officers were selected. The accomplishments were formation of the Initial Welcome and Park Committees. These Committees were created for the most part to address specific issues or continuing requirements facing the community at that time. As part of the Developers desire to begin to prepare the residents to handle community maintenance and issues, the committee was created. During this time the Developer hired Platinum Coast Management, with Ms. Dottie Sims serving in the capacity of Property Manager, succeeding Association Administrator Mr. Mike Kornhauser who died unexpectantly. The Committee served until the first meeting of the newly appointed Advisory Board, on October 02, 2000.

COMMITTEE TO BOARD:

As part of the Developers desire to continue to prepare the residents to handle community maintenance and issues, a Advisory Board was created officially 02 October 2000. Volunteers for the Board were solicited via U.S. mail in the August - September 2000 time frame by authority of the Developer using the current Property Management Company. Volunteers were to indicate their interest via U.S. mail returned to the Property Manager and with subsequent approval by the Developer to become Board Members.

ADVISORY BOARD:

Rather than appoint residents to an Advisory Board directly, the Developer through Property Manager Ms. Dottie Sims of Platinum Coast Management sent a mailing to all residents requesting those interested in serving on the Board submit their interest through a brief resume. Although Ms. Sims indicated that the 'election' would take place at a meeting in September or October by the time the meeting occurred, residents had already been elected by the time September's meeting occured. Coincidentally, the members of the former Advisory Committee were the same people now serving on the Advisory Board. Inexplicably, no election took place.

Ms. Dottie Sims resigned from Platinum Coast Management and Mr. John Gates assumed the responsibility of Property Manager on December 22, 2000. The term of the Board lasted until March of 2002 when a combination of resignations and Officer reassignments marked the end of the Advisory Board and the beginning of the Transition Board.
